Liz has been providing counselling and psychotherapy to adolescent, adult, neurodivergent, culturally diverse and LGBTQIA+ clients since 2016 and has previously worked with WA Government Departments (Justice and Health), not for profit community agencies, university and private practice settings. Liz has extensive knowledge and experience working with clients impacted by complex trauma, particularly from life events such as sexual abuse and ongoing violence.

She also provides assessment, formulation, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of other psychological problems and life issues including adjustment difficulties, depression, anxiety, panic, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, phobias, addiction and dependence, personality disorders and gender/sexuality.

Liz knows how hard it can be to want to overcome mental health conditions, particularly after having invested time and energy in the past but with no meaningful change. Liz provides a transdiagnostic, individualised, trauma informed approach that treats the underlying cause of many mental health issues, rather than just help you cope with your symptoms. Liz draws on Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing, Schema Therapy, Resource Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Existential Therapy, Attachment Theory and other evidence-based model depending on the unique needs of the client.

It's not an easy or quick journey but even when it gets incredibly challenging, Liz will hold the hope and won't give up on you.
